At Gyroaster, our story began with the inventive spirit of two best friends, Michael Hetherington and John Posa, who shared a passion for perfecting the art of marshmallow roasting. One fateful night, gathered around a campfire in northern Michigan, they envisioned a revolutionary marshmallow roaster. Michael, an engineer, and John, a patent attorney, combined their expertise to create the Gyroaster — a tool designed to achieve the ultimate marshmallow roasting experience through its unique multi-axis rotation technology.
Tragically, John passed away in February 2024, leaving behind a legacy of innovation and creativity. Inspired by their story and the brilliance of their invention, I, Travis Stoliker, felt compelled to continue their mission.
On May 28, 2024, my son Lane and I received our Gyroaster order and were amazed to find that these inventive minds lived just ten miles from our home in Haslett, Michigan. Moved by this connection and Lane's enthusiasm, I reached out to Pi Engineering. After a series of conversations, we acquired Gyroaster on June 12, 2024, ensuring that the joy and precision it brings to marshmallow roasting are shared with families and outdoor enthusiasts everywhere.
Today, Lane and I proudly carry forward the Gyroaster legacy, spreading the word at farmers' markets, campgrounds, and through our global online community. We are committed to teaching the values of entrepreneurship and hard work while sharing the delight of perfectly roasted marshmallows with the world.
