Laken and I are awarding $3,000 to the most outstanding educator at Haslett Public Schools! Any staff member of HPS that made a significant impact during the 23-24 school year is eligible. Whether a janitor, bus driver, teacher, principal, coach, or superintendent, if they made a big impact, we want to honor them!
To make a nomination and/or vote for a winner, simply go to the Haslett Community Facebook Group and leave a Nomination, comment, or Like. You must be a member of the Haslett Community Facebook group to vote so that we ensure it is the residents of Haslett that are voting as much as possible. (See the comments below)
Laken will select the top 10 educators that have received the most nominations, comments, and Likes on their nominations. I will then personally select the educator to receive the award.
The winner will be announced on or before graduation day Sunday June 2nd, 2024.
The main reason we are doing this is to give back to the Haslett community that has done so much for us. But also, so that we and the community can hear and share the amazing stories of these great educators that serve our students.
Please note: I am not registered as a non-profit so there may be taxes on the money that you receive. Please consult your tax advisor. You will receive the money directly from me, Travis Stoliker, as a personal check, Venmo, or whatever you prefer. The winner may use the money however they see fit.
You may nominate yourself and you may nominate multiple educators.
