Thank you for putting up with my shameless self promotion of Saddleback Barbecue for the past month. I know you've heard me say this before but we seriously couldn't have done it without all of your support. Tomorrow all of our hard work comes together for the official grand opening. We hope you can join us. (Mayor Bernero should be there about 12:30)
It was last December when Matt Gillett and I started talking about opening a restaurant. To officially open in only about 6-7 months is a pretty remarkable achievement. I can't say enough about how great of a business partner Matt has been. He is a work horse, putting in incredibly long hours to make sure his business is a success. His business acumen and BBQ expertise are quite impressive. I am honored to be in business with him.
Special thanks to our families (Laken Courtney) and the entire saddleback crew who have been instrumental in the success of this launch. We are hoping to be a part of the revitalization of REO Town and the community has been very supportive.
To all of you that have helped, promoted us, reviewed us, shared it with your friends or most importantly ate our food ---- thank you from the bottom of my heart. It's been an incredible journey already.
