In March 2014, Travis Stoliker shared a speaking engagement at the Michigan State University Wharton Center for Performing Arts alongside Jason Meyers, a fellow Lansing-area entrepreneur and business leader. At the time, Travis was serving as Chief Marketing and Sales Officer at Liquid Web, the Lansing-based managed hosting company he had helped grow from a small regional provider into a nationally recognized brand.

The Wharton Center is better known as an arts performance venue on the MSU campus — making it an unusual but memorable setting for a business conversation. Travis and Jason discussed entrepreneurship, marketing, and building companies in mid-Michigan at a moment when Liquid Web was approaching the height of its growth trajectory.

The appearance reflected Travis's growing presence as a public speaker in the Lansing business community — a role that would expand through his later work with the MSU Conquer Accelerator, Facebook's Boost Your Business program, and regional entrepreneurship events across Michigan.
