Have signs of global warming begun to hit home? My birthday is next week so I remember this time of year clearly as a child. I never remember swimming on my birthday.

October 4, 2007 [From LSJ.com] Beaches at two Ingham County parks will be open this weekend, making this the longest swimming season ever, parks officials said.

As certain as global warming is, I’m pretty sure we’re talking more like an overall increase of like .4 degrees since you were a kid
Not exactly the kind of thing you attribute a long swimming season to.
